Job Summary

• Leads the delivery of projects control scope (time, cost, quality) for assigned packages.

• Oversee the compliance with the project specification and to established milestone dates.

• Manage and direct the Project Managers for AECOM’s scope and AECOM’s sub-consultants scope.

• Maintain a very high level of Safety awareness and ensure the contractor complies with his obligations.

• Capable of administering the FIDIC based contract

• Report progress and package issues to client team.

• Discuss changes to the scope of work with the Client and key sub-consultant, if any.

• Responsible for following up on instructions & commitments associated with the project

• Establish Project Execution Plan, Health & Safety Plan, Quality Control Plan and other documents in relation to scope

• Plans, directs, supervises and controls the execution of all technical, fiscal and administrative functions of the project and the site team

• Assigns responsibility to key subordinates in their respective fields of expertise

• Work with other managers, project engineers and discipline Heads to coordinate between all components of work to ensure that the executed work is fit for intent of design.

• Monitors and reports to management on the progress of all project activities within the program, including significant milestones and any conditions, which would affect project, schedule, performance or Client relation

• Represent the company in Client meetings and lead Meetings with the Client, Contractor and other stakeholders; as required

• Establishes internal meetings to review project status and formulate action items

• Manage the resources plan, cost plan, risks and assure the project financials metrics are achieved in accordance with AECOM’s policies and procedures.

• Performs other responsibilities associated with this position as may be appropriate

Minimum Requirements

• Manages one or more very complex project, involving a combination of the following:

• Clients with a national geographic footprint; OR,

• Projects involving a full spectrum of services offered by IE; OR,

• Other complexities, such as projects that involve litigation, environmental protection, due diligence, etc.

• Manages all phases of projects (from beginning to close out).

• Has consenting and regulatory authority for approvals.

• Manages other Project Managers.

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor of Civil Engineering with any additional management qualification eg. PMP
