In this role, you will be managing the delivery of end-to-end projects and technical release management at Bell Residential Services and Small Business for nationally used Salesforce Platform, including deployment process, environment management, vendor management and continuous improvement of the service delivered.
Reporting to the Senior Manager, Application Development - Salesforce, the Project Manager, Salesforce – Sales and Service Cloud plays a key leadership role in delivering Salesforce projects. You will become intimate with our data model, dig deep into the current business norms, learn to question why, and search for ways to affect positive change.
Finally, the successful candidate is a self-starter who continuously looks for ways to improve effectiveness in processes as our business evolves.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Develop a Platform strategy and Salesforce roadmap that takes into account the market, user needs, customer needs, and Bell’s needs
- Collaborate with key stakeholders, partners, internal development teams and third-parties in multiple areas to meet enterprise needs and define priorities aligned with business goals
- Manage multi-function Salesforce development team to ensure we’re building the best products and constantly delivering value to users
- Effectively translate the digital roadmap into clear and concise product requirements for each initiative, considering functional needs, supported use cases and KPI criteria
- Work closely with cross-functional team including sales, operations, project team to facilitate requirements gathering and assist with the creation of project deliverables, as needed, own the creation of salesforce technical design.
- Manage the day-to-day execution of the Salesforce implementation including planning, project management, issue management, communication, change management UAT with end users including coordination and user acceptance sign-off.
- Establish and maintain trusted advisor relationships with business stakeholders by providing vision and future product roadmap.
- Managing internal team members and vendor delivering technical activities for Salesforce Platform
- Driving continuous improvements in the area of technical release management activities covering both process and tools improvements for ensuring we are using best practices, automation and most suitable tools.
- Complete regular internal system audits and prepare for upgrades and critical updates.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS & SKILLS
- 3+ years of experience with agile project / product management in positions of increasing responsibility in the delivery of business consulting and enterprise-scale software solutions. CRM and Salesforce implementation experience preferred.
- Ability to translate organizational vision into a product vision with the ability to weigh business and technical requirements to produce project plans and estimates.
- Proven problem solving ability with complex, technical and abstract concepts, effective planning, prioritizing, organizational and analytical skills
- A team player with the ability to work effectively in a fast paced, high energy, team-oriented environment with experience working with internal and external parties to design / develop technology solutions, confidence to challenge thinking while factoring in data security standards and compliance
- Ability to multi-task and perform effectively under pressure with a demonstrated history of delivering high quality results on schedule and within budget.
- Manage and communicate with remote developers during non-traditional business hours as necessary
