The Project Manager role within the Bell Business Markets Infrastructure Services business unit support a team of business lawyers, removing obstacles and ensuring the smooth operation of an internal business risk management process. The role will act as an interface between internal product managers, legal resources, sales support, delivery, strategic pricing, external partners and more than 20 other functional stakeholder groups. Along with managing a diverse set of both short and longer-term sales driven projects, the successful candidate will also support internal development projects focused on the deeper integration of each stakeholder group into the process itself. Unafraid of challenging the status quo, this will often involve root cause optimization and identifying opportunities for automation wherever it makes reasonable sense to do so. High performing organization and document management skills are key.
Responsibilities:
Process Organization (20%)
Review incoming process requests and triage accordingly based on requirements, scope, third party deliverables and stakeholder requirements.
Develop, organize and maintain detailed team documentation for both internal and external stakeholders
Approach process and tool challenges with critical thinking skills to identify opportunities for optimization
Project Management (50%)
Acting as the process subject matter expert and single point of contact, fielding Q&A, training, general inquiries, information requests, and setting/leading calls with stakeholders on a regular basis
Engaging with other subject matter expert stakeholders to determine applicability of identified terms to third party deliverables
Develop work back plans for incoming requests, assigning appropriate resources and socializing project requirements for each
Ensuring on time and on scope completion of project deliverables from each stakeholder
Identifying and escalating project hurdles to appropriate stakeholders, ensuring risk to completion is actioned proactively
Management of negotiation timelines to ensure that 100% of submission deadlines are met, coordinating with coordinating external resources as required
Assume a leading role in performing and overseeing the multi-functional tasks associated with these objectives, while working closely with colleagues and other business stakeholders
Development of communication plans, RACI and applicable project plan documents as appropriate
Stakeholder Management (10%)
Manage expectations of stakeholders engaged in the process. Includes sales, proposal management, legal, architecture, governance, procurement, product, senior management and others
Address and resolve conflict between teams with competing interests
Foster collaborative working environment between stakeholders in the process
Training (5%)
Onboard new stakeholders to the process through one on one or team based presentations (1-150 participants)
Training new resources in the process team on best practices, tools and support, coaching on conflict resolution and asserting clear focus on the interests of Bell are met in a reasonable and balanced way.
Team Support and Supplier Negotiation (5%)
Assist team members to negotiate flow down terms directly with third party suppliers to minimize risk to Bell through the use of a Customer Opportunity Agreement (COA), driving discussions as appropriate to ensure minimum friction and maximum opportunity for success
Governance Management (10%)
Facilitate establishing options to mitigate deal risks as they pertain to Sarbanes Oxley (SOx) requirements.
Adherence to Bell’s internal governance controls and processes (audited monthly for compliancy)
Filing, archiving and tracking of supplier responses and Bell risk mitigations

Preferred Qualifications:
University degree in business, management, process optimization and/or equivalent work experience
Previous telecommunications experience is an asset
Experience in stakeholder or change management is an asset
Experience in technical communication and communications management is strongly desired
3-5 years of relevant project management experience,
Advanced knowledge of Excel is preferred, visual basic for applications (VBA) is an asset
Advanced knowledge of Sharepoint and Windows networking is an asset
Project management certification or related certificates is an asset
