The opportunity
We are looking for high-performing and experienced Project Manager to help lead the growth of EY’s Real Estate Advisory and Project Management Services team, in our Perth office. This role is offered on a flexible full-time basis.
This opening will provide you with the opportunity to work with a highly experienced Real Estate Advisory and Project Management team, within a national practice.
The role offers experience across multiple industry sectors, as well as across functions within the EY Strategy and Transactions network. Successful applicants will be expected to play key leadership roles, managing and building client relationships and our growing and fast paced team.
Your key responsibilities
Provide Project Management services including managing strategy, governance, design, authority approvals, stakeholders, procurement and contracting of necessary consultants and contractors to deliver a range of projects.
Work with Senior Project Managers and Project Directors in collaborating with a range of government, institutional and private clients to realise their property and development aspirations.
Working across a number of sectors including.
Infrastructure including social, transport, justice and sporting assets
Urban Renewal and Place making
Education – primary, secondary and tertiary
Commercial
Social Housing
Residential
Retail
Assist on and be at the forefront of major urban renewal and infrastructure projects including the preparation of business cases, transaction strategies and property development advisory
Provide vendor and acquisition due diligence for clients disposing or acquiring real estate assets or portfolios of assets across a range of asset classes
Work on new and innovative housing models such as Build to Rent and Specialist Disability Accommodation
Investigate and utilise new real estate and project management technology applications to deliver innovative deliverables to our clients
Skills and attributes for success
Leadership and demonstrated emotional intelligence
Strong analytical skills, communication skills and attention to detail
4-10+ years’ experience in property and development client facing and/or construction site roles, with good report writing and presentation skills
Ideally, you’ll also have
A bachelor’s or equivalent degree in a property related course including Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering, Project Management, Town Planning or other.
