Bell’s Field Services team is proud to be the face of the Bell brand, performing the best installation and repair services and maintaining Bell’s network for our residential and business customers.

 

 The Field Services People and Program management team is seeking an innovative, creative and dynamic individual to Project Manage strategic initiatives across Field Services, provide analytical consultation and generate business insights to support optimal decisions for Bell Field Services. In this role, you will drive significant process improvements, be involved in change management and execute on key reporting initiatives.

 

This is a fast paced environment with a focus on delivering superior customer service. Reporting to the Senior Manager of People management team, the successful incumbent will identify, assess and deliver operational improvement opportunities and deliver projects to improve operational and workforce efficiency as well as to improve the technician and manager experience.  In this key role, the candidate must have strong analytical skills, proven experience in project management with the ability to meet tight timelines, self-determination to drive results and communicate plans and results to Senior Manager level teams and above.

 

Responsibilities:

Acting as the Project Manager/Business Analyst for People Management team

Identify, assess and deliver operational improvement opportunities and deliver projects to improve operational and workforce efficiency

Lead the review of business processes, perform analysis, uncovering areas for improvement, documenting, communicating results and ensuring that data feed for business insights are accurate.

Work with BI team to seek for quantified opportunities for improvement of our operational processes that meet business needs and requirements.

Following the Field Services governance process to obtain appropriate stakeholder sign-off during project life cycle

Assume leadership role and provide direction for others; lead project teams and projects to achieve objectives

Establish and execute communication, change management and benefits tracking strategies

Operationalize advanced analytics to tackle tangible and actionable business issues

Analyze complex cross functional business processes and identify opportunities to improve technician and manager experience through process and systems enhancements and end to end experience mapping

Prepare upper management for strategy discussions by developing reporting/ packages to provide high level strategic views of business performance

Build partnerships with leadership teams in Field Services

 

 

Required Skills/Experience:

Bachelors Degree OR Masters in a discipline such as: Project Management, Business Analytics, Business, Mathematics, Economics, Engineering, or Computer science

Minimum 2 years of experience in Project Management role

Strategic and creative thinker

Excellent skills in Excel

Strong working knowledge of PowerPoint with ability to quickly build a clear presentation for an executive audience that graphically explains issues and opportunities

Communication (spoken & written) skills suitable for executive audience

Demonstrated application of a wide range of analytical techniques to solve a variety of business problems

Deadline driven with excellent project and time management skills

Highly motivated, proactive, self driven, dynamic and results-oriented with desire to influence and promote change

Flexible and able to tackle duties outside of their usual scope of work when called upon

 

Preferred Qualifications/Competencies:

Project Management certification or equivalent

Strong preference for experience in Field Operations

Bilingual (English/French) would be an asset

Knowledge of Bell Systems: FWFM, Action!, Click, WFAS

MS Office skills, with advanced level in Excel & PowerPoint

Experience with database systems such as SAS, SQL server, Oracle would be an asset

 

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
