Job Description

Position: PROJECT MANAGER, CUSTOMER SERVICE AND OPERATIONS

Job Status: Permanent full-time position

Job Location: 87 Ontario Street West, Montréal, Québec

Salary: commensurate with qualifications and experience

 

Responsibilities:

SHOPICO.CA is a Bell Media web platform. It’s a transactional website on which visitors can purchase gift certificates at discount prices. These gift certificates can then be redeemed for merchandise and services from reputable merchants. With this service, merchants can finance advertising campaigns on radio and television, with Astral Out-of-Home, and on Bell Media’s various digital platforms, mainly in Quebec.

First and foremost, the successful candidate will handle SHOPICO.CA’s customer service. The candidate will also support day-to-day operations with the other team members.

More specifically, the successful candidate will:

  • Provide customer service to consumers, including technical support, by phone, email, and social media. Assist in coordinating the team in charge of mailing gift certificates to consumers
  • Follow up on consumer sales and refunds in collaboration with the accounting department.
  • At the operational level, provide support to their colleagues. They will coordinate all material required to publish product promotions online with the sales teams and their customers and integrate content and visuals into our sites via a CMS (content management system). Produce and publish offers online
  • Participate in marketing activities aimed at merchants and consumers and in brand sales.
  • Participate in technological activities with our suppliers
  • Perform any other related tasks assigned by their supervisor.

Qualifications:

  • Customer service experience a major asset
  • A minimum of three years’ experience in a professional environment
  • Training in administration/marketing/communication or equivalent
  • Experience in the web and new media
  • Organizational skills, resourcefulness, and versatility
  • Outgoingness and good communication skills
  • Sense of ethics, respect, and professional integrity
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite and quick to learn other software
  • Bilingualism essential (French and English), both spoken and written

 

Bilingualism is required (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
