Responsibilities

• Create and maintain a project plan; participate proactively in developing and maintaining (client) team standards and best practices
• Track and ensure visibility of historical team metrics and progress of the iteration and release
• Emphasize the need for incremental releases, iterative work and prioritization by value and risk
• Partner with project leads to ensure the team is producing a solution that meets established standards, procedures, and practices
• Collaborate with project leads to aggressively address issues, risks, and mitigation plans
• Proactively identify and removes blockers, limit work in progress, and prevent distractions
• Facilitate frequent retrospectives; share metrics to identify and implement improvements
• Monitor the progress of product development, as well as plan for product release
• Manage and develop product backlog, as well as user stories backlog for implementation
• Highlight product features in a manner clearly understandable to the development team
• Measure product performance as well as value delivered to clients in order to make adjustments where necessary
• Develop and implement action plans for building and sustaining demand for a product

 Qualifications

• 5+ years of work experience in Project Management
• A positive, collaborative attitude and the proven ability to work and lead in a team-based environment to deliver flawless results for clients
• The ability to set and manage a project plan; a command of project management principles and a track record of applying them to drive transformation successfully
• A desire to work with enterprise-level clients and the ability to manage through complexity
• A strong technical background is needed to understand the intricacies of technical aspects from the various initiatives and manage issues coming from their integration
• Demonstrated ability to work directly with technical and product teams
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills essential for team-based working; the ability to exercise humility with confidence and demonstrate leadership and professionalism at all times
• The ability to manage stakeholders management in a fast-paced, client-facing environment 
• The ability to deploy Agile Methodologies
• PMP Preferred
• Experience in the insurance industry is a plus, or the equivalent experience working with highly regulated industries
