Job Description

Are you ready to take your next step into health management?

The Auckland District Health Board is a large innovative organisation and one of New Zealand's leading public healthcare providers. We are committed to continuous improvement to ensure we deliver the best results.

We are looking for someone to join the Mental Health and Addictions Directorate in a 0.4 fte project coordinator role, with a key focus on supporting the expansion of the Individual Placement and Support programme in our community mental health services. This role will provide you with an opportunity to work within an intersectoral approach involving specialist clinical services, other Government sectors, Non Government organisations and whaiora and whanau representatives.  You will be part of a core project team and work alongside those involved in project governance in order to support the effective and efficient roll out of the IPS initiative, along with other programmes of work as identified.

The Mental Health and Addictions Directorate is keen to support the growth of our staff and this is a great role if you are on the journey to being a project manager. As part of a core team, your development needs will be supported.

A relevant tertiary qualification and driver’s license are essential.  Knowledge and experience in project co-ordination and/or specialist mental health would be preferred.

You will be comfortable working autonomously and cope well under pressure, juggling priorities and meeting deadlines, and acknowledged for your excellent communication skills and proficiency in the MS Office Suite of applications.

This position is based in Auckland DHB, working in a Fixed term (January 2022 – 30 June 2023) , part-time (0.4 FTE) role.
