The Project Controls Manager is a new role.  You like variety and you are hands-on. Together with team leads and finance manager you'll ensure that we deliver sustainability projects to budget and timeline.  Add your experience to the growing team in Wellington or Auckland.

• Managing and enforcing processes for project management, including budget and scope deviation
• Liaising with internal project managers on progress and performance of projects
• Keeping projects on budget and in time
• Finding solutions to correct deviations from expectations
• Owning internal project management processes

• Sound experience in project management, particularly focused on consulting projects
• Ability to find and sense risk before it becomes a problem
• Excellent experience at client engagement on difficult topics
• A proven ability to prioritize, manage multiple priorities and work under tight deadlines
• A positive approach, being open minded and a can-do attitude
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• Ability to give and receive constructive feedback
• Flexibility and resilience to work in a fast-paced environment
• Strong attention to detail, and good follow-through
• Ability to perform effectively in a team environment and collaborate with colleagues at all levels and locations across the Australia and New Zealand as well as ability to work independently
• High proficiency in the Microsoft Office Suite
• A relevant University degree together with Project Management qualifications (e.g. Prince 2)
• At least 5 years work experience in a relevant role
