The Bell Media team creates and delivers the best Canadian and international content across our digital media, television, radio, and out-of-home advertising platforms. Responsibilities
Support the day to day operations of the Crave Pay TV & SVOD Programming team
Oversee Crave’s content rights/inventory management strategy and process through the tracking of new incoming content and existing inventory
Liaise with internal Bell media teams to effectively communicate key programming information
Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to ensure all programming and rights information is up to date
Support the Senior Content Lead with Crave’s acquisition strategy by way of sourcing, reviewing, and managing content acquisitions
Support the Senior Content Lead with strategy in the creation of presentations and other documents
Other duties as required
Qualifications
Post-secondary degree or diploma in digital media or television preferred
Minimum of 3 years’ experience working in film, television, and/or on demand programming
Must be highly organized, detail oriented, a clear communicator and comfortable interacting with external and internal senior and junior staff members
Must have a passion for and knowledge of television, film and pop culture both past and present
A keen interest in and knowledge of the Canadian OTT and traditional television landscape
Highly proficient in the Microsoft Office suite
Ability to work well under pressure, possess excellent time management skills, be a self-starter, multi-task and meet assigned deadlines
Familiarity with legal contracts & rights management, an asset
Familiarity with kids content & programming, an asset
Familiarity with IBMS, Micro Strategies, SmartSheet and/or other scheduling and broadcasting software, an asset
