We currently have an opportunity for a Programme Finance Manager role based in Wellington CBD on an hourly rate contract for 3 months with an immediate start desired.

This role will require you to provide strategic advice and direction while leading a team in a fast paced environment. The successful candidate will have great relationship management experience, be a proven trusted advisor and bring a wealth of capital projects finance knowledge.

Key Responsibilities:

• Engage in the preparation and distribution of financial advice, acting as a trusted advisor to the Programme Director and other senior leadership.
• Support financial and operational decision making and management through the provision of timely and accurate information and business support.
• Lead and support a team of accountants to ensure the financials are managed inline with the programme’s financial plan.
• Provide the full suite of project financial support including timely and accurate; budgeting, forecasting, analysis and reporting.
• Act as the point of escalation for any issues that arise, requiring specific financial expertise and judgment.

Key Requirements:

• CA Qualification or Equivalent.
• 4+ years relevant Senior Project Accounting/Finance Business Partnering Experience.
• Proven Leadership Experience
• Capital Projects Experience Desirable
