About the role 

WorkSafe New Zealand are looking for two part time (20 hours per week) or one full time (40 hours per week) Programme Coordinator to provide excellent programme, project and administrative support to the Manager, Delivery and Response and members of the Health and Technical Services Group.

As the Programme Coordinator you will bring along your exceptional Programme Coordinator skills and play a key role in monitoring, managing and tracking programme and project work and ensuring online content and communications are up-to-date and fit for purpose.

We are open to receiving applications for candidates who are wanting to work part time (20 hours per week) and work around their family or other commitments. This would mean the role would be shared between two part time employees. We are also open to receiving applications from people looking for a full time role (40 hours per week).

 

About the team

The Health and Technical Services Group is a centre of excellence providing high-quality technical information and advice to internal and external stakeholders while delivering its own technical programmes/projects of work.

 

In more detail, you will be responsible for:

  • Coordinating, organising and delivering programme or project tasks (internal and external engagement, staff training and development, business process tools, procedures and information, marketing collateral and social media support)Providing an advanced level of administrative and coordination support to the manager and team
  • Assisting with programme and project meeting management including agendas, minutes, action taking and tracking
  • Ensuring projects adhere to frameworks and all documentation is maintained appropriately for each programme or project

 

You will be successful in this role if you have: 

  • Experience working in a coordination role, supporting multiple priorities, programmes and projects in different phases from start-up through to delivery
  • Experience developing and implementing programme and project planning, monitoring and reporting
  • Ability to assist with presentations and engagement activities
  • Experience in managing meetings including agendas, minutes, and recording and tracking actions
  • Excellent collaboration, communication and relationship management skills
