The Intelligent CloudOps team is dedicated to making Azure the world’s most reliable cloud. We accomplish this by building intelligent, automated software solutions for Microsoft’s engineers. Responsibilities

Are you a person who loves to learn, interested in solving interesting challenges, and dream up new ideasThis role requires excellent customer empathy and background in solving highly technical problems. We are looking for a passionate, self-motivated person to design a highly distributed, insights-driven, intelligent and autonomous incident management solution. Our team's charter is to use AI/ML and automation to pro-actively deflect incidents and build experiences to improve the lives of engineering teams across Microsoft. You will influence how Microsoft does DevOps to improve the availability and reliability of cloud services. Ultimately delighting Microsoft’s cloud services customers. You will deeply understand and become an evangelist for customers to deliver unparalleled experiences for Microsoft Engineers.

 

The ideal candidate is passionate about engaging with engineers to understand their needs and is data-driven in making decisions. You will work on features of the incident management engineering system that help Microsoft engineers improve the reliability and availability of their cloud services, including:

  • Provide leadership throughout the entire development cycle to deliver technical designs, features, and user experiences with measurable results.
  • Understand our customers to identify key insights to ensure we deliver great customer experiences which solve real world problems.
  • Meet with, and survey customers (Microsoft engineers), identifying their core needs and unmet expectations.
  • Work with partners and key stakeholders to define the vision and strategy.
  • Define success measures for the feature team and ensure technical investments are driven by data & customer feedback.
  • Identify risks & issues that impede success to provide effective solutions & recommendations.
  • Communicate across a broad set of partners to ensure key stakeholders clearly understand purpose, progress, and can provide feedback.
  • Leverage existing telemetry data to gather insight into customer behaviors to drive prioritization decisions and feature improvements.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of relevant Technical Product Management experience.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • 1+ years of experience delivering/building products or services on Azure/AWS/other Cloud platforms.
  • Demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, product, and technical challenges in an enterprise environment.
  • Strong technical skills, with a track record of successfully designing and delivering cloud services that solve complex technical problems.
  • Passion for improving developer experiences, self-motivated and self-directed, who continuously strives to make things better.
  • Customer-obsessed, and results-oriented with a laser focus on customer impact.
  • Knowledge of engineering systems and processes at a large scale.
  • Excellent collaboration and communication skills (verbal, written, presentation - to peers and executives).

Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud background check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
