Urgently looking for an expert production manager for a cabinet manufacturing company based in Hobson Ville.

Your new company

Our client is a well established market leader in manufacturing kitchen cabinets based in West Auckland . this role will be reporting to the Operations Manager

You duties will cover:

• Supervise and manage the production team
• effective planning and scheduling to meet deadlines
• Ordering of supplies of hardware and materials to ensure efficient factory operations
• Liaising with managers of all departments
• Quality control
• Maintaining all Health & safety standards are maintained and practiced
• Oversee our Machinery and equipment maintenance and troubleshooting
• Must be able to read and understand engineers & architectural plans, manufacturing specifications, and other technical drawings to ensure the carpentry team build to plans accurately and with precision

What you'll need to succeed;

• Previous experience in carpentry, cabinet making or a similar trade would be ideal
• Previously worked in a manufacturing or production leadership role
• Good time and people management skills
• be able to work in a fast paced and high pressured environment
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
• good administrative skills using operating systems
• You must be a qualified carpenter to be able to apply for this position
• You must be currently living and eligible to work fulltime in New Zealand
