Job Description
This position reports to the Manager, Investment Offering Management, and requires solid knowledge of investment products (GICs, variable GICs, and mutual funds) along with a strong sales approach.
Your main challenges:
- Identify and analyze stakeholders’ needs in order to propose solutions to the needs expressed and offer high-quality expert service
- Understand business issues, identify partners' needs, and propose strategies to help them reach their objectives
- Monitor net inflows and explain any variances versus objectives
- Provide information to be used for decision-making and promote tailored solutions to resolve problems
- Participate in several forums to stimulate sales and promote investment products to various sales forces
- Take part in the continuous improvement projects
- Participate in the budget exercise and sales monitoring
- Influence orientations and policies related to your professional area of expertise within your sector, and ensure the buy-in of the other parties involved
More specifically, you will:
- Work closely with the different Personal Banking sales forces to help them achieve their objectives
- Diligently monitor net investment product inflows
- Make recommendations to simplify our processes
- Draft communications, then oversee and coordinate their delivery
- Play a second-level support role for the pricing desk
Competencies required:
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 4 years of relevant experience OR Master’s degree in a related field and 2 years of relevant experience OR university certificate/undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and 6 years of relevant experience
- Knowledge of Personal Banking investment products
- Knowledge of the branch network, an asset
- Able to work in a multidisciplinary team
- Able to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
- Able to analyze and summarize information
- Able to make recommendations
- Bilingual, both spoken and written (English and French)
