About the Role

ANCA has an exciting opportunity for a Product Manager within the Marketing Team in the Bayswater Head Office. Reporting through to the Product Management Team Leader, this role will see you take ownership of the product throughout its life cycle. In this role, you will be responsible for the management and marketing of ANCA’s grinding machines, software, and ancillary products. Some oversees travel may be required when necessary (and possible).

Position Purpose

To provide expert product knowledge and direction on a range of products. Management of products from concept to completion. Oversee assigned aspects of ANCA products to meet market expectations, targets and agreed company objectives. Be a voice for the customer within the organisation.

 

About You

You have a minimum of 5 years’ experience within the related marketing, engineering machine tools fields or the relevant tertiary qualification.

Your knowledge of the current market landscape is comprehensive, and you will be familiar with the applications of Tool and Cutter Grinding Machines or the application of cutting tools. A passion for manufacturing is a bonus and will hold you in good stead for this position.

You have strong market research skills and can easily identify gap analysis and opportunities, customer and market needs and competitor analysis. You will also have excellent stakeholder management skills to develop and maintain key relationships at all levels and be a team player who is able to work within a fast paced and enjoyable team environment. 

Your superior written and verbal communication skills will allow you to author complex briefs and concise reports and to create and deliver product training to your ANCA peers and external customers.

You have sound experience in working alongside sales teams to develop financial forecasts and sales targets.

Your strategic planning skills allow you to think big picture and you can comfortably deal with complex concepts with creativity and innovation.

Responsibilities of the role include however are not limited to;

Product Development / Application:

  • Practical and hands-on in Developing and Applying the product(s).
  • Development of our solutions to meet industry or application needs.
  • Action and deliver the Product roadmap.
  • Drive cost and quality of the product(s).

 

Product Management:

  • Develop the Product Roadmap based on market feedback and research.
  • Produce detailed Product Requirement Documents (PRDs) for assigned Products and Applications.
  • Ensure marketing requirements are captured within engineering design documents and are executed accordingly.
  • Responsibility for Go to Market strategy for Product
  • Own and Drive Product Launch Plans

 

Product Marketing:

  • Set target product pricing and costs based on competitive market expectations and competitor offerings.
  • Plan marketing campaigns and promotional activities.
  • Responsibility for product-related content for online marketing including web site content, E-sales activities, and other online marketing channels.
  • Maintain necessary contact with customers and industries to meet company objectives.
  • Responsible for product-related content for printed material relating to products including brochures.
  • Ensure products are brought to market with required quality standards including presentation, packaging, documentation, sales material, etc.
