The Microsoft Managed Desktop (MMD) Customer Acceleration Team engages with our global field team & system implementor partners to sell-it right, close deals, onboard customers to our services, deliver top-notch customer and partner experience, and most importantly drive a data-driven customer/engineering feedback loop. We are looking for customer-obsessed individuals with the ability to lead a team to influence product priorities and broad technical knowledge to work directly in this space across these different audiences. Responsibilities

This customer-obsessed individual will have these areas of responsibility:

Product & Service Insights: Working with the rest of the SCM, Windows and Office engineering teams, use your knowledge from enterprise customers and technical expertise to help develop insights that guide the future direction of our products and services.

Engage, Evangelize, & Educate: Use your broad technical knowledge to understand customer business & technical requirements and provide consultative guidance on modernization, product and service enablement and utilizing the capabilities across the Microsoft stack to achieve desired outcomes that enable our customers to architect a modern transformation to Microsoft Managed Desktop.

Ecosystem Enablement: Use your knowledge from enterprise customers and broad technical subject matter expertise to support the enablement of our scalable deployment ecosystem.  Collaborate with key internal and external partners to identify their business and technical requirements to drive alignment and continuous improvements.

Qualifications

What skills do you need to have?  

There will be many opportunities for you to learn and grow into this role and Microsoft. However, to be able to best deliver on the purpose of this role, these are the core skills and experiences you should have on day one,

Experience of working closely with product, engineering, and marketing teams throughout the product development lifecycle to deliver best-in-class experiences.

Passion for enabling great customer & partner experiences with outstanding customer satisfaction track record

Experience working with customers and/or partners across end user computing transformation.

Ability to forge strong relationships at multiple levels with customers and partners (Business Decision Makers, CxOs,  IT Leaders, Service and Technical teams), speaking on behalf of Engineering and helping them understand our value proposition and our services.

Solid experience in identifying technical gaps and advocating on behalf of the customer to make products even stronger with proven track record driving the prioritization of product improvements based on actual customer evidence

Proven ability to operate in a cross-group, cross-functional engineering roles to influence product roadmap

Broad technical awareness & product knowledge across the Microsoft 365 stack(Expertise in the any of the following is advantageous: Intune, System Center Configuration Manager, Identity, Windows, Modern Provisioning (AutoPilot), Microsoft 365 Apps for Enterprise, Microsoft Defender for Endpoint and related technologies)

Experience with ITIL practices and able to work closely with customers to establish a solid interlock with Microsoft while identifying gaps to close.
