We are currently seeking a roll-up-your-sleeves type of Product Manager to join us on our mission towards building a unique offering for the Financial Industry and changing the way financial services are distributed. In this role, you will be the conduit between customer needs and technology; and represent both the voice of the customer and the voice of business. You will be a resident product expert with an in-depth view of your product and it’s assigned domains to play an active role in driving the product strategy, roadmap & delivery from ideation through to launch with some ongoing post-launch optimizations requests.

Your role:
Become an expert who will support in defining product strategy & roadmap, lead backlog prioritization and be in the know on market trends.
Own your product domains from ideation/concept to launch including post-launch optimizations.
Collaborate in an agile framework with technical & non-technical stakeholders.
Create Epics and work closely with the engineering team to create “right level of detail†user stories.
Define Story acceptance criteria and groom backlog with the development team.
Identify and manage vendors related to assigned products.
Support in optimizing configurations of business oriented vendor solutions.
Participate with our business partners planning and support sessions.
Participate in producing public documentation to be used by distribution partners to help them understand our various banking products and implement their solution.
Work with our Legal and Regulatory teams to ensure the product being built is compliant.
Our ideal candidate would possess the following skills:
Team player with a drive to help each other
Post-Secondary education in business, social sciences, engineering, or finance
5+ years of experience in a technical product management role; ideally in financial services
Curiosity to learn new products, technologies, and industries
Delivery-oriented who enjoys wearing multiple hats
Desire to work in agile (ex. Scrum, Scaled Agile)
Ability to meet deadlines and keep on track
Strong awareness of technological concepts and practices
Excellent communication skills and high proficiency in English and/or French
