As the Product Manager, Banking and Cash Management Solutions you will take tactical and strategic action on all aspects of product management (strategic plan, projects, pricing, etc.) You’ll stand out for your ability to identify opportunities, monitor results and suggest actions to your partners.

With your up-to-date knowledge of the market and trends, you will align operations with the product strategy and use feedback from the sales force and clients to validate this strategy and adapt the products.

Your duties:

• For the portfolio of products under your responsibility:
  • Manage and develop products according to a strategy based on profitability objectives, client needs and corporate objectives.
  • Assess the Bank's competitive position, make projections concerning the growth rates of your products, monitor market trends and product sales and usage volumes, and recommend strategies for optimal positioning in the industry.
• Act as a coach on your work team, particularly for product officers
• Develop, influence, and implement projects, business processes and large-scale mandates that have a major impact on the Bank's profitability and efficiency
• Establish and maintain effective communications and enhance internal and external communications
• Prioritize your portfolio of initiatives based on human resources, IT and budget capacities in order to meet client needs and business targets 
• Guide the business lines with pricing and product offers when drawing up requests for proposals
• Negotiate major complex agreements with different business partners

• Bachelor’s degree in a related field and 7 years of relevant experience OR master’s degree in a related field and 5 years of relevant experience OR university certificate/undergraduate diploma from the National Bank University Program and 9 years of relevant experience 
• Experience in product strategy and management 
• Advanced knowledge of commercial products, banking IT environment, ICOP and trends. More specifically: current accounts, banking packages, account consolidation and overdraft protection as well as access through various channels (in-branch, ABMs, IBS-B, mobile banking, IVR).
• Recognized experience in managing and delivering projects, particularly matrix-based, an asset
• Experience in an advisory role with management, an asset
• Ability to communicate effectively both in writing and verbally
• Experience in managing business partners, an asset
• Bilingualism, spoken and written (English and French)
