Overview

LogMeIn is looking for a highly motivated Product Data Analyst to further our use of data to drive the product decisions determining the future of LastPass. LastPass is an award-winning password manager that helps millions around the world organize their online lives. LastPass provides secure password storage to make going online easier and safer, with convenient access from any internet-enabled device.

As a Data Analyst within the product team, you will work with cross-functional teams composed of product managers, designers, UX research and engineers to discover patterns in user behavior that inspire the next set of improvements. Youll help define and measure the success of new product initiatives and work with engineering to plan and execute on new data collection. Youll also work cross-functionally with many departments and stakeholders, and gain exposure to multiple dimensions of the business.

The right candidate is a data-driven, curious and thrives diving into complex data to turn ambiguous customer problems into useful insights. You will be accountable for identifying the next set of problems to solve and validating that our solutions continuously improve our customers ability to keep their online identity safe and secure.

Responsibilities

Be the team leader for product data analysis; mine data for insights, test and validate hypotheses about customer behavior and demonstrate how product enhancements delight our customers

Influence the roadmap through presentation of data-based recommendations

Define metrics to evaluate business performance, product launches and experiments; build reports and dashboards to monitor and understand them

Work closely with product and engineering to make ensure we collect the right data to produce relevant product insights

Qualifications

A Bachelors Degree in statistics, math, engineering, computer science, economics, or a related technical field.

2 years prior relevant experience in an Analytics role covering product or engineering

Experience in writing SQL queries and working with multiple data sets to develop analytical solutions for defined business problems

Understanding of statistical concepts

Demonstrated ability in learning new reporting or BI tools

Ability to work independently and in a cross-functional setting

Excellent verbal and written communication skills
