Join the BorderAPPS Support team in supporting the various applications and systems used in New Zealands COVID-19 response. This programme is delivering work across a range of exciting applications and systems including the National Border Solution (NBS), Border Clinical Management System (BCMS), Border Workforce Testing Register (BWTS), Nau Mai Rā (NMR) as well as other integral systems.

The BorderAPPS Support team is an exciting and fluid team who are able to adapt and change to the changing environment of COVID-19 response. The team has been responsible for standing up some of the most integral systems to New Zealands Border response to COVID-19. The BorderNET team works inside the Data & Digital Directorate, and in collaboration with the COVID-19 Health System Response directorate.

Te whainga poto o tÄ“nei tÅ«ranga – What is the purpose of this position?: 

The Product Analyst contributes the the objective of projects across the BorderNET programme and within the BorderAPPS Support Team as well as the wider Ministry through the delivery of quality analysis and support. The Product Analyst will work alongside the Operational Support team, and the Business Analysts.

Ngā PÅ«kenga me ngā Wheako – Skills & Experience: 

To be successful in the Product Analyst role you will bring the following experience:

• Experience in similar roles delivering business outcomes at an entry to intermediate knowledge, and an understanding of core skills of analysis and solution development.
• A desire to contribute positively to the Ministry of Healths COVID response.
• Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills, with the ability to translate information into meaningful conversation with any of the current 2500 users of the Border systems.
• Preferable - experience with a Salesforce product or similar Customer Relationship Management System
• Possible role for recent uni graduates, or people with equivalent level of experience.
• Preferable – Tertiary qualification in computer science, information science, business systems, or equivalent.
