Job Description

This is a fantastic opportunity for a Process Technician to build upon their wide and varied experiences in manufacturing process in our Blending and Canning Facility in Mangere.

This role will ensure all aspects of the infant formula powders manufacturing process are set to the highest standards of hygiene and operational excellence. Key duties will include,  iller responsibilities, hygiene standards, palletising and excellence in health and safety procedures

Your ability to be flexible and enthusiasm to develop your skills in a variety of areas within the manufacturing process will provide you with the springboard to success as you build your knowledge and experience of powder blending and canning with some of the best in the business.

This is an energetic role, with heavy lifting involved and would suit a strong, self motivated and forward thinking person, with a dedicated work ethic, who can think on their feet and communicate operational needs, problems, ideas and solutions quickly and effectively.

Skills and experience

Please be advised this is a shift based role from Monday to Thursday, 5.45am until 4.30pm. There may be a need for flexibility as this role, and production schedules, build, so new shifts could be added. Dispensary and filler operation experience would be highly regarded in this role so please ensure any experience of this is noted in your application

To be successful in this role will also require … 

  • Previous experience in a food/dairy manufacturing environment.
  • Working knowledge of HACCP systems and process
  • Previous insight actively using M3 and/or SAP systems at work.
  • The ability to undertake heavy lifting on a regular basis
  • Excellent attention to detail especially working with numbers and data
