We are building the next-generation Connected-Notes experiences as part of OneNote and are looking for an Engineering manager to join our team! We are rapidly building new experiences around how users take, collaborate, and manage their notes, allowing them to use the power of OneNote today in Teams, Outlook, Office, and more. We are focusing on adding value with contextual notes: Taking notes while you are in a Team meeting. Responsibilities

• Model, coach, care. For our engineering managers, their first priority are their directs' career growth, wellbeing in our team and our team culture
• Participate in the technical design and implementation of fast and fluid web experiences on OneNote and assure quality for engineering work.
• Be highly motivated and demonstrate willingness to learn and to grow within the role.
• Invest in others’ growth and mentor team members and build highly capable teams.
• A passion for deep understanding of customer needs and bringing customer perspective to daily work.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications

• Leadership skills, displayed via official management experience or clear examples of effectively leading groups of engineers.
• 10+ years of industry Software Engineering experience.
• Demonstrated experience in shipping high-quality products or services.
• Experience with cross-discipline and cross-team collaboration.
• Excellent technical communication skills.

Qualifications that are a Plus

• Experience designing, developing, deploying, and evolving web-based user experiences.
• Experience with React, TypeScript, Redux, SharePoint.
• Experience developing apps in Microsoft Teams.
• Strong problem solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills.
• Demonstrable experience in driving key architectural decisions, designs and implementation at scale.
• Experience analyzing and improving full-stack web & service efficiency and reliability.
