The Commerce and Ecosystem division (C+E) in the Cloud & AI group powers commerce for Microsoft’s key businesses like Azure, Office 365 & XBOX. Our R&D team in Bangalore & Hyderabad are one of the most strategic and growing teams at Microsoft IDC. We are hiring an advanced in career Program Manager to help us deliver services and experiences for empowering Microsoft’s developer and partner ecosystem to be successful.

Technical Excellence - Core to being a software product manager is of course technical excellence. This is not merely knowing the latest and greatest language developments, but demonstrating a passion for technology, a curiosity to ‘go deep’, and an ability to quickly learn and build upon past experiences, to be able to extrapolate from those experiences, and deliver innovations. Technical excellence is rooted in having a strong demonstrable aptitude for problem solving.

Responsibilities

Vision - Understand the space and the success factors to help build a vision of what a high-scale demand commercial marketplace & monetization solution for Azure, Office 365 & M365 

Technical Strategy & Plans - Define technical strategy, product specifications and more importantly, deliver tactically against that same strategy. Ability to be highly agile, experiment, yet still accomplish long and short-term goals. 

Technology Roadmap - Ability to interact with diverse technical and non-technical groups spanning all organizational levels to create a solid technical roadmap. 

Services - Leading a high-functioning development team responsible for critical-path agent-facing services and tools. 

Customer Focus: Evangelize with field, and drive customer adoption 

Partnership - Driving strong partnerships with enterprise partners, customers, ISVs to understand their scenarios and translating them to requirements for products 

Team - Fostering a strong working relationship with development, design, content, marketing, and business development 

Hands on - Embracing an adaptable and flexible organizational culture and thrive in our fast paced and evolving industry/technology, finding solutions to hard problems at massive scale and operationalizing them

15+ years of engineering program management leadership or large-scale operations experience 

Demonstrated performance in prior roles, with increasing levels of responsibility and independence 

MS or MBA preferred
