Customer Experience for Communications, Media, Entertainment is one of the key strategic Industry solutions in the Oracles SaaS applications development and engineering organization. Oracles next generation of Customer Experience solutions is driving transformational changes in how communications and media service providers will interact, engage and support their customers. We are looking to hire a Product Manager to join our CX4C Product Management team. In this role you will be expected to define the product strategy, product and solution requirements, architecture, use cases, as well as build / own the Concept to Market, Order to Cash solutions roadmap for both consumer and enterprise segments. You will work closely with multiple product and engineering teams spanning Customer Data Management, Marketing Commerce, CPQ, Orchestration, Billing SaaS Applications.

The candidate should have demonstrated ability to think strategically about business, create technical architecture solutions around customer objectives in complex situations, developing and driving CX industry solutions. The ability to connect technology with measurable business value is critical to the role of a Product Manager.

Prior experience of working in Communications industry PLM domain and/or omni-channel ordering domain; deep understanding of TMF standards like eTOM, SID, TAM, Open API, ODA and their practical application is desirable

Role and Responsibilities

The Industry PM for the Ordering solution Design time and run-time - will be a key member of the product management team, and your roles and responsibility will require to you to

Define the pre-requisites to enable a faster Time to Market covering Concept to Market domain

Define the Omni-Channel Ordering solution addressing assisted and un-assisted buying experience

Gather customer requirements, create solution level BRDs and PRDs with use cases

Develop and manage the functional solution architecture

Build roadmap by gaining alignment/commitment across all teams

Work with UX team to build world class user experience

Write User Stories with Acceptance criteria

Identifies dependencies and work across peer teams to prioritize the work

Work with the engineering teams to build and manage product releases including PSR, Security guidelines, test plan, localization, Accessibility etc.

Support peer teams in building go to market strategy/plan

Support existing customers by prioritizing/fixing bugs/gaps

This role will require an you to be understand and document communications ordering processes, data mapping and integrations across applications in the Ordering solution.

Detailed Description and Job Requirements

Lead a team that acts as the central resource and driving force for the design, process, manufacturing, test, quality and marketing of product(s) as they move from conception to distribution. Organize interdepartmental activities ensuring completion of the project/product on schedule and within budget.

As a member of the product development division, you will analyze and integrate external customer specifications. Suggest and justify product directions and specifications. Specify, design and implement moderate changes to existing software architecture. Build new products and development tools. Build and execute unit tests and unit test plans. Review integration and regression test plans created by QA. Communicate with QA and porting engineering to discuss major changes to functionality.

Work is non-routine and very complex, involving the application of advanced technical/business skills in area of specialization. Leading contributor individually and as a team member, providing direction and mentoring to others. BS or MS degree or equivalent experience relevant to functional area. 7 years of software engineering or related experience.
