The Role:

This is a permanent, full time opportunity that can be based in our Sydney or Brisbane office.   

Broadly, our Principal Consultant Psychologists are workplace mental health experts who consult on a broad range of psychological health and safety matters. To achieve this, they apply their knowledge and expertise in workplace mental health to the delivery of practical, evidence-based assessment and interventions, such as focus groups, training delivery, strategic organisational analyses and other consulting services, to deliver services onsite at the client’s premises and virtually. The role is varied, engaging, and high tempo.

The ideal candidate:

We are seeking a highly capable industry professional with demonstrated expertise. You will have a history of operating efficiently at both a strategic and tactical level to ensure organisational goals are achieved. 

  • AHPRA Registered Psychologist (two-year Master's degree / PhD in Psychology highly preferable)
  • Completion of a board approved area of practice endorsement is preferable (e.g. Organisational OR Educational and Developmental OR Clinical Psychologist)
  • Potential to become, or current board approved supervisor (preferable)
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience with a focus on workplace mental health (i.e. developing workplace mental health strategies / training delivery)
  • A deep understanding how psychology relates to people at work to achieve organisational outcomes
  • Excellent research skills, ability to understand how scientific data relates to practice and how it effects organisations
  • Ability to integrate data findings into workplace interventions (i.e. strategic planning and assessments)
  • Strong mental health literacy, ability to articulate a range of workplace mental health topics in an accessible manner
  • Confidence and credibility when presenting / communicating workplace strategies and solutions to an audience, also while communicating the value of organisational psychology interventions to external stakeholders
  • Ability to take initiative, work autonomously with good planning, time management and organisational skills
  • Flexibility, mental agility, and resilience
  • Ability to navigate digital platforms, understanding of, and efficient use of MS Word, PowerPoint and Excel
