Your new role

Our client is looking for a fantastic senior policy advisor to come on board and contribute to the achievements of the Ministry’s objectives through providing high quality advice. You will be conducting thorough research, tackling complex issues and providing tangible solutions.

You will be working with system strategy, investment design and regulatory policy.

In this role you will have the opportunity to work on the Ministry's strategic direction and round out your skillset as a policy professional.

What you'll need to succeed

To be considered for this role, you will have:

• Key skill in stakeholder engagement
• Ability to critically synthesis complex information
• Knowledge of Te Tiriti O Waitangi and cultural competencies
• Strong written and verbal communication, including experience with ministerial correspondence and briefings
• Policy development experience
• Experience scoping and planning policy projects
