The BAO team is a multidisciplinary team that develops applications for opening accounts and managing investment profiles for National Bank clients. We play a key role in the Bank’s digital transformation and are looking for a Product Owner (PO) to join the BAO team to collaborate with the Wealth Management business lines (National Bank Financial) and capital markets (National Bank Direct Brokerage Inc.)

Your role:

• Work closely with the business lines to set top business priorities
• Act as the custodian of delivery priorities for the entire BAO team, which includes 2 squads working in Agile mode
• Prioritize deliverables (Feature, Epic, Story) to ensure our various business partners are getting maximum value
• Build and maintain the entire BAO team backlog
• Define the acceptance criteria for deliverables and ensure their quality
• Participate in the follow up and acceptance of the deliverables with the scrum master
• Participate in the squad’s Agile ceremonies
• Collect, document and analyze automation needs in order to validate and prioritize business needs and link them to the various possible solutions

Your profile

• Bachelor’s degree OR other degree in a related field and more than 6 years of relevant experience
• At least 3 years of experience as a PO or 5 years of experience as a business analyst in information technology
• Sound knowledge of Agile methodology (Scrum and Kanban) and/or SAFe framework
• Experience in delivery in Agile mode
• Excellent interpersonal skills, client-centric, ability to influence and take on a leadership role, autonomy
• Discipline, ability to take charge, good communication skill
• Team player with the ability to positively engage stakeholders
• Understanding of delivery cycles and product/service lifecycles, an asset
• Knowledge of banking operations processes, an asse
• Ability to adapt in an environment undergoing transformation
• Full proficiency in French (spoken and written)
