We are currently recruiting for a powerful team of energetic and active individuals to work as a Pick Packer in an extremely comfortable working environment. Working in our newly built Belmont Warehouse (the air conditioning is fantastic), you will be responsible for picking and packing items used in critical day to day operations. Many of these items are used in our Ambulance operation, you will have an opportunity to learn and be apart of something that makes a significant difference in the community. Opportunities for longer term employment will be afforded to anyone who is performing their role to a high standard. We are open to training those with limited warehouse experience, attitude is essential in being a star warehouse employee at St John WA. Experience will be highly regarded, and remuneration will reflect level of experience. As this is a casual arrangement, hours, and days to be negotiated with the candidate, strong availability will be beneficial.

What you’ll do:

• Participate as an active team member in all warehouse functions, such as receipts, despatch, loading & unloading, and rostered delivery schedule.
• Organising freight and couriers
• Assist the Inventory Controller to conduct weekly stock counts
• Assisting various operational staff with stock queries such as warranty claims and customer returns
• Manual handling
• General understanding of Occupational Health and Safety standards.
• General housekeeping
• Bring a high level of energy

What you’ll need:

• Current Forklift Licence (desirable)
• Previous experience in fast paced, hands on roles that requires physical acumen
• Team player
• Eye for detail
• Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office
• Good communication skills
• Flexible and adaptable
• Previous experience in a Warehouse environment
• Can do and willingness to learn attitude
