Where you’ll be working: Waikato Hospital
The details: Fixed term until November 2022, full-time – 80 hours per fortnight

We have an exciting opportunity to work within our dynamic team as a Physiotherapist covering our in-patient medical/respiratory wards. You will work as part of an enthusiastic and close knit team, providing an efficient, effective service to our clients in the ward setting. This position would be rewarding for a practitioner with an interest in this clinical area who is committed to clinical outcomes and teamwork. This position would be ideal for someone ready to extend their career in the medical and respiratory area. You will be expected to participate in the weekend and on call roster.

We are seeking staff with: 

• A current Annual Practising Certificate
• A positive, flexible attitude
• Proven ability with prioritisation and time management
• Ability to work autonomously as well as part of a team
• Experience in working collaboratively as part of a multi-disciplinary team
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
• An interest in service development
• A minimum of three years clinical experience working as a Physiotherapist, ideally within an in-patient hospital setting with medical/respiratory experience

As relevant to your clinical experience, you may be involved with supporting and developing our junior rotational physiotherapists and students, and could be expected to supervise staff, and be able to support them at short notice with the acutely unwell patients.
