Job Description

  • Permanent Physiotherpist role (Core 2 Rotation) - 1.0 FTE 
  • Opportunity to work across 12 rotations

The Community Allied Health Team is a large multidisciplinary service for adult clients who have physical health and disability needs and live in the Central Auckland region. We are a progressive service, committed to delivering care in a contemporary locality based framework. You will be part of a comprehensive multi-disciplinary team with strong professional support to enable you to optimise both your profession’s specific practice and also a community health focus.

We are looking for a Physiotherapist with a minimum of 2 years’ experience to join the ADHB Core 2 Rotational Programme. The programme enables you to gain a breadth of physiotherapy experience, spending 9 months in a variety of hospital and community services. The 12 rotations are: 

  • General Medical
  • Ward 51/Integrated Stroke Unit (2 positions)
  • Women’s’ Health
  • In-patient Fall Prevention Team
  • General Surgery
  • Orthopaedics
  • Musculoskeletal Outpatients
  • Community Rehabilitation Team (CoRe)
  • Neurosurgery
  • Community Physiotherapy
  • Reablement
  • Paediatrics

Your first 9-months’ rotation will be with the Community Allied Health Physiotherapy Team
