- MUST love dogs, cats and people

- Strong administration skills

- Basic algebra/maths skills (for quick/accurate quoting)

- Proficient in Word, Excel, Mac and ability to adapt quickly to new software

- Able to answer large volumes of calls and deal with various types of customers

- Excellent multi-tasking skills

- Physically fit (able to lift 20kg, able to handle large, strong/heavy pets)

- Able to administer medication to pets (topical/oral medication and diabetic needles)

- Customer service focused

- Excellent attention to detail (Very important to us!)

- Brilliant communication skills and a positive attitude

- Able to work split shifts 7 days a week (7am-12noon, 2-5pm)

- Live locally or happy and willing to travel for split shifts

- Available to work school holidays and all public holidays

- Car Licence & Own Transport

What we do is 365 days a year. All staff members must be available during all school holidays and public holidays. We are a very busy facility and require our staff to be adaptable to our fast-paced work environment and be reliable as we are a small team. We operate in rain, hail and shine so being physically fit and able to work in the weather is a must.

The role will predominantly involve working as our receptionist and also tending to the cattery/kennel if needed (admin staff must know how the kennels and cattery work so they will be trained in these areas, also). All staff work as a team to maintain communication regarding all aspects of our guests' welfare among each other and between our facility and our customers.

Hours: Between 30-38 hours per week; Comprising of shifts 7am-12noon, 2pm-5pm with extra hours during peak seasons (Qld school holidays). If you meet the requirements listed above, please send through a cover letter telling us how you would be suitable for this position and your availability.
