About the role | Mō te tūnga

As an essential part of our Payroll team, the Payroll Co-Ordinator will provide payroll and administrative support to ensure we deliver an accurate and on-time payroll service to our kaimahi.

You will work closely with the Payroll Manager to ensure all payroll-related activities such as quality assurance of payroll data, processing, administration of ACC, superannuation, deductions, and processing and reconciliation of Final Pays and Overpayments meet compliance with all payroll-related legislation.

What you will bring| Ngā pūmanawatanga ōu

• Proven payroll experience in a large organization.
• Experience using HRIS and payroll systems, ideally SAP, is preferred.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Knowledge of relevant legislation that impacts on the operation of payroll services.
• Ability to build and maintain positive relationships across the team, organization and external agencies.
• Excellent verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
• Understanding and appreciation of cross cultural issues and concerns, in particular, knowledge of tikanga Māori, and Pacific people's culture
