The Roles
In these part-time or casual roles based in Richmond (and Hawthorn as required) you will work predominantly in the Emergency department admission area processing emergency patient bookings, and across other Patient Services roles as required.
You will be tasked with conducting health fund eligibility checks and estimates on all admissions, and preadmission organisation, admission and discharge of patients ,and bed allocations when required. The role will also involve responding promptly to enquiries and requests, handling patient accounts, as well as general administrative duties including data entry. The Patient Services Centre Richmond Emergency is open 24 hours, 7 days a week and you will need to be flexible to work on a rotating 24/7 roster.

Your well-developed administration, customer service and people skills see you adjust quickly and work effectively as part of any team that you join. Excellent with your time management and organisation skills, you can prioritise effectively to manage multiple requirements. Previous administration experience in the health care sector, medical or health fund industry would be advantageous but is not essential.
