Job Description
This Cloud Solution Architect role is perfect for someone who likes to work closely with Microsoft partners to help build their technical capability to deliver Microsoft technology-based solutions. You will help partners understand the power of the Microsoft Dynamics and Power Platform suite of products, explaining the technical features, helping partners design architectures, engage in proof of concepts and troubleshooting potential roadblocks with subject matter experts and product engineering teams. This is a partner facing role, responsible for providing end-to-end technical guidance and expertise.

The purpose of this role
- The Cloud Solution Architect (CSA) plays a critical role in working with partners to align their technology roadmaps with Microsoft's technology priorities.
- The Partner CSA role is a unique opportunity to shape and support the technical growth of the Microsoft ANZ partner ecosystem.
- The CSA works in partnership with the Partner Development Manager (PDM) through the `Build-With’ stages of the solution/service Life-cycle engagement.
- You will facilitate architectural design sessions, specific implementation projects and/or Proofs of Concepts.
- You will work with partners to help them build and grow their technical practices in the Dynamics and Power Platform solution areas, including solution development, skilling and architectural guidance.
- This role will own the technical partner strategy for Dynamics and Power Platform, as well as collaborating with other parts of Microsoft and our partners, always with the Partners’ needs at the heart of everything you do.

Qualifications
What skills do you need to have?
This role will focus on Dynamics 365 Customer Relationship Management/Customer Engagement (CRM/CE), hence experience and both functional and technical knowledge of CRM technologies will be required.
- Functional experience on fit-gap analysis and solution design involving an enterprise CRM system such as (but not limited to) Salesforce, Oracle CRM, SAP Customer Experience, HubSpot or Netsuite CRM.
- Technical design and implementation of one of multiple applications listed in the previous item, including implementation lifecycle, integration and extensibility patterns.
- Collaboration. Acknowledged for driving decisions collaboratively, resolving conflicts and ensuring follow through with exceptional verbal and written communication skills.
- Communication. Ability to orchestrate, lead, and influence virtual teams. Strong presentation skills with a high degree of comfort with both large and small audiences at different levels of organizations.
Required/Minimum Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or related field AND 6+ years experience in technology solutions, practice development, architecture, consulting, and/or cloud/infrastructure technologies
- OR equivalent experience.
