Cremorne Street Bakers is a high end Baked Goods company supplying across the Grocery, Victorian hospitality and Retail markets. This is our 6th year of operation and we have developed not only strong business connections and sales contracts but a great company culture within our team of 18 staff. Qualifications & experience

• Experience with the following within a small scale manufacturing operation: Inwards & outwards goods / Walkie Stacker /Pallet stacking and preparation for pick up/ Simple packing machinery operation eg: Flow wrapping experience would be advantageous
• Stock control/ Picking and Packing/ Ability to work at a fast and accurate pace
• Experience, knowledge or interest of food wholesaling / manufacturing environments would be an advantage
• Knowledge or experience in a logistical focussed workplace with manifests and associated documentation
• Good at planning ahead and operating an organised work flow

Tasks & responsibilities

• Meeting dispatch deadlines
• Co-managing the packing of food products to highest standard
• Operating machinery eg flow wrap machine, walkie stacker
• Maintaining systems for accurate stock control
• Supporting the Logistics Manager to fulfil orders from receipt through to dispatch
• Ensuring our small team including casuals are working efficiently and following company warehouse and packing procedures
• Maintaining a safe, clean warehouse including company HACCP documents
• Liaising with drivers and loading pallets
• Being across work flow and upcoming orders
