Job Description

A DAY IN THE LIFE...

 

  • Lead Packaging projects & trials at Factory level with the focus on performance, cost efficiency on time delivery and product quality. 
  • Provide packaging input and evaluating best packaging alternatives for new products and improvements to existing products. 
  • Organize and document factory trials including machinability, transport tests for validation of new packaging and changes in specifications.
  • Conduct value analysis; identify and recommend cost reduction and, source optimization opportunities. 
  • Implement packaging related quality and compliance directives & drive quality improvements in our packaging. 
  • Drive packaging material reduction and solutions with lower environmental impact.
  • Support Procurement in the selection, assessment and development of new suppliers/converters.
  • Report Consumer complaints in his area and ensure they are properly managed /monitored and solved. 
  • Ensure development of competencies of packaging lab analyst or supplier & disseminate packaging best practices and knowledge at the shop floor.

ARE YOU A FIT?

 

  • Bachelor's Degree in Packaging or related is a must.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in packaging.
  • Strong knowledge in packaging technology and materials.
  • Competent in Safety, Quality and Compliance.
  • Competent in Packaging environmental sustainability.
  • Good stakeholder management skills and can work in a team.
  • Able to communicate in English & Thai.
