The Opportunity

Extend has a very exciting opportunity for a dedicated individual who has a love for children, education and leading a team.

Extend children at Scotch College in Claremont are looking for someone to play, teach and take care of them in a safe learning environment at Before and After school Care.

Are you our next Educator to lead and create an inspiring and engaging team? 

The Role

An exciting opportunity for a passionate, energetic and highly organised person to run BSC , ASC and our Vacation Care as the Coordinator. We require full time availability for BSC & ASC and Vacation Care in this very busy OSHC. This role is ideal for a person who can build and maintain positive relationships with the children and the school community. Your caring and compassionate nature along with the required qualifications (see below) will secure you this role.

You will implement and maintain a high-quality service. This involves developing a relationship with the children, families, principal, school leaders and their communities and always providing outstanding customer service.

As a central member of the team, you will plan, deliver and promote quality activities for children which are safe, fun, stimulating and carry educational value. You will also uphold the welfare and safety of children at all times.

Your amazing, fun and engaging program will help grow attendances at the Extend service.   

General Work Hours: 

  • Monday to Friday
  • After School Care 2:30pm - 6:00pm
  • Holiday Program - up to 6 hours per day

Pre-requisites 

  • Diploma in Children's Services / Early Childhood Education or a Certificate IV in one of a number of areas including Education Support / School Age Education and Care or similar from another State or Country
  • A current Employee Working with Children's Check
  • HLTAID003 or higher First Aid, Anaphylaxis & Asthma Management Training
