The opportunity

We are looking for Managers to join our Organisation and Workforce Transformation Practice within the People Advisory Services team in Melbourne.

Many organisations are currently facing societal, business, technological and operational shifts that result in a need for fundamental organisation and workforce changes. With a future-back lens, we help clients take stock of disruptive future business trends, chart a course of action from current to future state and create a roadmap of opportunities to align their organisation and workforce.

We collaborate in high-performing teams with our clients, accelerating value by aligning business and workforce strategies with current and future operating models, applying asset-enabled capabilities such as organisation design, workforce planning and analytics. Our EY professionals ask better questions and work with clients to create holistic, innovative answers that deliver quality results.

Your key responsibilities:

• Lead, plan, co-design and deliver projects for clients, identifying business strategy imperatives for their organisation and workforce 
• Lead diverse teams in project-based environments to deliver innovative organisation and workforce solutions, using EY’s methodologies and assets
• Reshape workforces to meet changing business needs through cost-effective actions -  (build, buy, borrow, bot, bridge, bond)
• Restructure organisations and align talent for day one readiness and beyond, while meeting synergy commitments
• Support the breaking down of silos with clients, while managing workforce costs and improving capabilities and talent mobility to drive productivity

Skills and attributes for success:

• Hands-on experience with leading teams to solve business challenges relating to organisation and workforce transformations, including but not limited to organisational design, workforce strategy, strategic workforce planning, talent management and future of workConsulting experience – working in a professional services consulting environment or working in an internal consulting function
• Leadership experience – ability to guide, direct, coach, develop and manage diverse teams in project-based environments
• Strong analytical, interpersonal and communication skills
• Demonstrated ability to work in fast-paced and often ambiguous working environments 
• Collaborative team player
