Job description: Global Markets- Integrated Planning Business Analyst/Financial Analyst

Grade: Supervising Associate

GDS & Market Ops summary:

Global Delivery Services (GDS) - Operations COE team provides operational and decision-making support to the Business Development Leadership and to various Global Markets functions.

Our diverse teams specialize in coordinating Business Development (BD) activities, supporting Go-to-Market projects and providing operational support to the Markets organization. The team is spread acrossmultiple locations around the globe.

Essential deliverables and processes include:

The Integrated Planning Supervising Associate works closely with the Global Markets team throughout the Integrated Planning cycle, and beyond. The role requires to work closely with the Global Markets team to develop strategic projects and operational processes required on a day to day basis. The candidate should help to ensure proper process has been implemented and executed across the Areas and Regions, supporting the business in the change management process.

The role also requires advanced knowledge on MS Excel (inc. VBA Macros) & BI tools along with work ethic and attention to detail while focusing on accuracy and timeliness. The candidate should have a comparable work experience with effective communication skills including communication over emails and MS teams, aiming to support the business and its leaders, through problem solving, reporting, data analysis and providing insights with attention to detail. Building and maintaining relationships with stakeholders' cross teams is essential for this role.

Serve as a business analyst/financial analyst by:

  • Experience in Data integration & Data visualization: This involves combining data residing in different sources and providing team with a unified view of the same in terms of reports & Analytics. Also processing capabilities to compare two different views of the same data and ensure they align.
  • Advise and support teams to effectively manage data in various systems and tools.
  • Become integrated in the team and organize and attend update calls
  • Prepare documents, presentations, and dashboards for meetings for leadership
  • Helping implement the global process as defined by the planning process leads
  • Update the project plan and follow up activities, ensuring proper and timely deployment
  • Provide inputs for process improvement, building efficiencies, automation, standardization for optimal team workflows and day-to-day operations.
  • Provide ideas, take initiatives and be proactive regarding the view/graphs/tables for presentation.
  • Develop knowledge of the business and its priorities.
  • Testing the data flows, report data alignment and processes around Integrated Planning (Executive Guidance and GIP) and GRPT tools (Interim reporting, My Business, exception reporting, etc)
  • Help test that Integrated Planning and GRPT functionalities reflect business patterns and are user-friendly.

Experience and qualifications:

  • Graduate / Post-graduate - (BusinessAdministration, Information and Data Science) with 8 - 10 years work experience in professional services industry having exposure working on Advanced Reporting & Analytics.

Skills & attributes

  • MS Office skills: Advanced level experience in Excel reporting, PowerPoint and PowerBI.
    • Minimum Expectation:
      • Advanced Excel - VBA Macro, Functions and Formulas, Filtering, Conditional Formatting, Validation etc.
      • PowerBI/Other BI tools/ Alteryx - Data Integration and Data Visualization etc.
  • Project coordination - Capable of engaging effectively with multiple stakeholders, understanding the objectives of their programs/initiatives.
  • Business acumen and Adaptability - Capable of quickly understanding the needs of the business.
  • Quick learner - Ability to grasp or quickly understand the process, objectives / intricacies of projects and move to delivery mode in a short span.
  • Strong numerical, analytical and attention to detail skills.
  • Strong interpersonal skills - Confidence, maturity & ability to build strong client relationships.
  • Multi-tasking capability - Effective time management and prioritization.
  • Excellent Communication - Listening, reading, writing & speaking skills.
  • Presentation skills - Ability to build effective presentations.
  • Work under minimal direction/supervision - Be accountable for projects assigned, take complete ownership and drive projects end to end.
