POSITION OVERVIEW
Reporting to the Manager, Channel Compensation, the successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the accuracy and timeliness of payments for external distribution channels. ACCOUNTABILITIES AND KEY RESPONSIBILITIES
- Generate commission payments based on predetermined criteria, ensuring accuracy and timely delivery
- Undertake periodic audits to ensure payment accuracy and compliance with contract terms
- Maintain reference tables and process documents
- Investigate and manage commission related claims
- Address and mitigate potential exposures to prevent payment issues
- Assist in the redesign and automation of current payment processes
- Identify opportunities for system and process enhancements
- Maintain good working relationship with channel partners and stakeholders
COMPETENCIES AND QUALIFICATIONS
- University degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business or relevant field
- Minimum 1 year experience in a complex, high-volume financial organization
- Analytical; able to extract and analyze large amounts of data
- Strong organizational and problem solving skills; attention to detail
- Proven ability to work independently in a dynamic and fast-paced environment
- Ability to meet aggressive deadlines without compromising quality
- Proficiency in SQL and Microsoft Excel
- Experience in report generating programs and application reporting
- Must be flexible, adaptable and versatile
PREFERRED SKILLS / EXPERIENCE:
- Practical experience of systems/process development and project implementation
- Experience in SAS Enterprise Guide
- Experience in PL/SQL
- Working knowledge of Bell Mobility internal reporting systems, processes, products and services
