An opportunity has become available due to the exciting expansion of our services in Whanganui.

We are seeking an experienced, and operationally focused individual to join our team in the role of Operations Supervisor. This role will support our operations team and will be critical to the successful implementation of a new network of urban services that will launch in 2023.

The role

• Support the implementation of a new network of Whanganui urban services on behalf of our contract with Horizon's Regional Council.
• Responsible for the day-to-day operations of our urban network, and ensure we are delivering safe, reliable, and quality transport.
• Support the day-to-day operations our Charter and School Bus networks.
• Work closely with our drivers and foster a team culture that gets the very best out of each team member.
• Roster and ensure fleet of vehicles are ready, our team of drivers know the plan and we deliver on every promise we make to our customers.
• Foster a positive, proactive H&S culture

About you

• Proven experience in an operational role in a team leader/supervisor capacity.
• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to connect with others at all levels.
• An ability to exercise a balance and well-informed approach to problem solving.
• Strong time management and organisational skills to work within a fast-paced environment.
• A current class 2 and 4 drivers' licence with the ability to gain a Passenger endorsement (if you don't have one already).
• Transport industry experience would also be an advantage or a passion for transport and logistics.
