Operations Assistant - Casual/Part Time role

Want to join a global entertainment group with offices in Australia, USA, Spain and Mexico? An exciting opportunity presents itself within a leading concert and sports ticket marketplace based in Melbourne.

The Role
Reporting to the director of operations, the operations assistant role will include:

  • Completing daily tasks including order fulfilment, event building, event checking, pre/post-event reporting, website maintenance, ticket requests and customer service enquiries.
  • Assisting the client services team with administrative tasks.
  • Managing incoming calls and customer service enquiries.


The Person
As an operation assistant, you will:

  • Have a passion for live events.
  • Thrive in a fast-paced environment, where tasks, plans and ideas change constantly.
  • Highly competent in utilising, learning and teaching others new technology.
  • Be committed to the varied demands of the role.
  • Possess a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Be available to work Saturday and/or Sunday.

Other key notes about this role

  • Both full-time and casual positions are available, however, given the business operates 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, this role will sometimes be required to work outside of business hours including weekend work.
  • Bonuses/commissions are available if key targets are met within the business.
  • The Ticket Merchant is part of a global entertainment group with offices in USA, Spain, Mexico and Australia.
