The Role:
Reporting to the Chief People Officer, the most important priority in this role is to provide a fantastic office work environment for our people to thrive in. This specifically includes pre-empting and flawlessly juggling all aspects of day-to-day office operations: from safety to maintenance and repairs, catering and consumables, assisting with employee queries and logistical needs, meetings and functions, and acting as the key point of contact for our office suppliers and service providers. This is a customer-focussed role, with the most important customers being our people! There will also be an administration support component to this role.
Skills and Experience:
The ideal candidate for this role is someone seeking a fun, professional and respectful working environment where you can make the role your own! As you take ownership for delivering a great experience for your customers, you will apply your high level of initiative and organisation/logistical skills. You will take great pride in taking care of all of the necessary details to ensure that everything about the office work environment ‘flows’ and that it remains safe and inviting for our people to do their best work. Above all, you will love working with people!
It is important that you are very IT savvy, particularly in the use of Microsoft office programs. Ideally you will also have had some exposure to working in a busy office or hospitality environment, where you have had to home in on operational and logistical details as well as embracing a customer-first approach in everything you do.
This is a great role for someone looking to transition away from non-traditional hours to office hours, someone looking to return to the workforce or transition to a new role that you can really carve out as your own and make a difference in a down-to-earth professional environment.
This is an onsite role based in our headquarters in Fortitude Valley, with full time hours of approximately 8am – 4pm Monday to Friday.
