Herrenknecht is the leading premium supplier worldwide for all-round technology solutions in mechanized tunnelling for tunnel infrastructures of all kinds, as well as for underground energy sources and raw materials extraction. Herrenknecht Australia, a subsidiary of the global organisation, comprises a small team offering site support to active local tunnelling projects before, during and after TBM excavation. 

This role would suit someone with previous administration experience, seeking the next challenge in a role which you can make your own. 

This position is available at our Head Office located in Eagle Farm, working in a small-knit team of management personnel, engineering and finance professionals ensuring the smooth running of the office and providing admin support.

To be successful in this role, you must be able to develop strong relationships with managers to provide hands-on assistance across a variety of administrative functions. Office administration duties include:

 

  • Answer incoming calls and re-direct as required
  • Arrange staff travel and accommodation in line with project requirements
  • Ordering of any required personnel equipment or uniforms
  • Coordinating and updating timesheets on a weekly basis
  • Facilitate the smooth running of the day-to-day office needs
  • Additional administrative support as required

 

Qualifications, skills and experience you will require for this position include:

  • 1-2 years’ working experience in an administration position (previously experienced person looking to return to the workforce are encouraged to apply)
  • Excellent attention to detail
  • Quick learner with the ability to multi-task and adapt to changing priorities
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to work in a team and independently
  • Proficient skills in MS Office applications, including Excel and Word
  • Part-time work can also be considered
