In the role, you’ll be…

• Evaluating the treatment and/or rehabilitation needs of workers involved in a work or non-work-related injury, or who have experienced an illness causing work related incapacity
• Conducting assessments e.g. initial needs, workplace assessments, ergonomics and activities of daily living
• Conducting specialist functional and pre-employment assessments for corporate customers (including audiometry, spirometry, D&A testing)
• Helping clients identify future employment or training options by reviewing their transferable skills, qualifications and interests
• Responsible for effective case management to plan, coordinate and monitor your client’s progress toward their return to work goal
• Engaging with key stakeholders and building strong relationships to facilitate the achievement of business objectives
• Office based, also visiting worksites, attending medical appointments with your clients and more - no two days are the same!

About you:

• Qualified Exercise Physiologist / Occupational Therapist / Physiotherapist / Rehabilitation Counsellor
• Professional registration / membership with the relevant body (AHPRA / ESSA / RCAA / ASORC)
• Have occupational rehabilitation experience
• Comcare accredited / eligible (desirable)
• Experience with DVA and / or ADF (desirable)
• Exemplary communication skills and the ability to build relationships with a range of people
• A motivation to achieve targets and be business-savvy
• A current Working With Children Check
• Willing to undergo a National Criminal History Check upon successful application
