This position provides a real opportunity to make a major contribution as part of the Heritage New Zealand Pouhere Taonga's Northern Regional team in promoting the protection and conservation of New Zealand's important heritage places in the region. Your expertise, personality and creativity will complement the committed multidisciplinary team of heritage specialists in our team.
The role calls for resource management planning expertise, you will be representing Heritage New Zealand in public forums providing expert planning advice and evidence. Candidates also need the ability and confidence to foster strong working relationships and negotiate positive outcomes with stakeholders. It also involves resource management planning to support to our nationally significant heritage properties.
A tertiary qualification in planning or related field and relevant Resource Management Act experience is required.
