The Bell Wireless E2E Performance Team is looking for a RAN specialist joining our Performance Management Squad to support the Performance DevOps Product Owner to develop the customer centric measurements. The successful Specialist candidate must be confident and comfortable with understanding the Access Network KPIs (LTE/5G) and have clear tracking of the metric development for wider team’s reference.

 

Job Duties/Accountabilities:

 

  • Supporting Performance DevOps PO on developing RAN Performance KPIs according to the aligned priorities.
  • Supporting Performance DevOps PO to have level 2 KPIs developed with all RAN vendors.
  • Working with RAN vendor to identify proper RAN performance counters, formulas and KPIs with customer focus.
  • Providing the compute logic for the KPI formula to Big Data team and clarifying the requirements if needed for MSTR and YODA
  • Working with RAN Performance team to review the evolved LTE Performance KPI thresholds
  • Well documenting all 5G NSA and SA Performance KPI developments
  • Working with external partner for OLA related KPI alignment
  • Supporting Performance DevOps PO with continuous improvement by proactively identifying opportunities for improving E2E Performance Development to better reflect user experience.
  • Detailed focus, fascinating on learning new things, and strong performance understanding
  • Assisting with internal and external communications, improving transparency, and radiating information

 

Critical Qualifications/Competencies:

 

  • Bachelor degree in Computer/Electrical Engineering or Computer Science;
  • Minimum of 3 years experience in wireless communications specializing in access network technology
  • Familiarity with 3GPP Release 15/16 specifications and Air Interface
  • Good skills and knowledge of servant leadership, facilitation, situational awareness, conflict resolution, continuous improvement, empowerment, and increasing transparency
  • Excellent English written and verbal skills and strong interpersonal skills

Bilingualism is an asset (English and French); adequate knowledge of French is required for positions in Quebec.
