About the role:

• Network / Technical fault analysis, troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Implement Network Security, Routing, Switching, Firewall, Wireless and Load Balancing technologies
• General Corporate end user support and Technical fault analysis, troubleshooting and problem resolution
• Implementing solutions, including new or enhanced systems, technology, or infrastructure
• Monitoring, administrating, and reporting on infrastructure platform systems and functions e.g. backups

About you:

• At least 5 years IT industry experience
• One major certification such as MSP, MCSE, CNE, VCP, CCEA or Cisco Certification or equivalent qualification
• One or more Vendor qualifications e.g Fortinet
• Technical involvement in large / medium scale projects
• Microsoft Server and desktop OS and Application implementation and support, including cloud services
• A sound understanding of the connectivity between desktop, server and network hardware, as well as functioning across a distributed environment

Proficiency across the following areas:

• Network Security
• Cloud Networking
• Experience with a variety of Firewall/Routing/Switching/WIFI Vendors (e.g. Cisco, Fortinet, Juniper, HP, Palo Alto etc)
• Dynamic Routing Protocols (RIP, EIGRP, OSPF, BGP etc)
• CCNA / CCDP or equivalent
• Networking troubleshooting
• Windows and Network deployment and patching
• PowerShell scripting, process automation
