Job Description

The role

As a Facilitator, you will be delivering a range of individual and small group based employment supports to NDIS Participants in the Werribee community. Helping them build capacity to achieve goals and take control of their aspirations.

You will be supporting independence and personal growth, helping your participants to develop and establish their vocational identity. Tailoring support programs to meet their individual requirements and increase their capacity for work.

  • Assist in the development and delivery of employment supports
  • Provide support and mentorship to participants that encourages skills development
  • Deliver person centred supports to participants transitioning for school to work
  • Provide on-site support once employment has commenced and assist with integration
  • Effectively utilise resources to generate and optimise appropriate employment opportunities
  • Maintain accurate reporting and records
  • Travel as required for service delivery and support of participants
  • This role is based in Werribee and flexible working hours are available

Your experience in Community Services, Employment Services or NDIS will aid you in this role. Your resilience and creative problem-solving skills will help you tackle complex issues as they arise. Strong administration and compliance experience will see you able to maintain effectiveness and efficiencies in this role.

Due to the nature of our work, to apply you must:

  • be eligible to work in Australia
  • have a current driver’s licence and a comprehensively insured vehicle
  • have current First Aid and CPR
  • be willing to complete and pass a Criminal History Check
  • be able to secure a Working with Children Safely Card
  • be able to pass a NDIS Worker Screening Check
  • be able to pass and complete an NDIS Worker Orientation Module prior to commencement
